Heads up
- Teammate Terry McLaurin (a top target) is on IR, so McNichols may see more targets.
- Backfield mate Jacory Croskey-Merritt is on IR, so McNichols could see more carries.
A hurt top target or lead back nudges the projection up a little, since their work tends to shift to teammates. QB and offensive-line flags are shown for context but do not change the number.

Foot
McNichols was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, and what coach Dan Quinn described as a "serious mid-foot injury" will keep the running back sidelined for the rest of the 2026 campaign. With Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin) slated to miss at least two more games, the Commanders' current healthy RBs are Rachaad White, Austin Ekeler and Robert Henry.
